Long Beach to Ensenada

Left Long Beach the morning of 10/13 with Joe and MaryLou Upton and Mike  and Kathy Jackson on Anna. Not much wind, but it was warm and sunny. The first night we were at Dana Point.                           Next night San Diego Yacht Club. Left San Diego in Fog on 11/16 6am. Arrived Ensenada 4:30. Cold and sunny. View from the Cockpit Our dock right on the Malecon Turns out we don't have one document that we need to clear customs so it is being sent "UPS Overnight". We are hoping we can leave Sat. 11/20 or so. Anna left today (11/18). In the mean time there is plenty to keep us entertained: Margaritas at Hussong's Wandering the streets near the marina. Large Noble Fir from U.S: $120 (Made me a little homesick) The start of Baja 1000 was in Ensenada today ...............................pretty exciting!

New Dinghy Davits We’ve seen a lot of Drew and his friends , which has been really fun. We took them  out for a sail one day. Drew and Jim went surfing one morning at Huntington Beach. The weather has been great, but the nights have been cold enough to light the diesel heater. Uptons arrived on Anna last Sunday evening 11/7.  They were in the boat yard getting a new shaft and propeller for a few days and now they’ve moved to our marina. Jacksons are scheduled to arrive today, 11/12 to join Uptons on Anna. We are planning to head out on Saturday morning 11/13 to buddy boat our way s...

At home in Alamitos Bay View from the cockpit Jim's cousin Steve lives in LB. Donna, Tim, Ann and Todd Donna and Ann are great family friends of Chrissy's family.
