Waiting for Simon and Kelsey to do the gunny sack race - not much competition: Beach Time: We took the "Red Truck" taxi to the marina one night to have excellent pizza: Sending the kids off to the airport: We spent one more night before flying back to La Paz: We have been working our way up Baja from La Paz. We are now in Puerto Escondido getting fuel and gas, doing laundry, etc... Heading back out tomorrow to the islands.

La Paz, BCS 2019

Scenes from La Paz: The Malecón (waterfront boardwalk) in La Paz is great for walking or biking. It is now getting a major facelift. This is the old section: This is the construction zone:   This is the section that is done: It's VERY nice, has more places to stop and relax, play structures for the children, and all of the wonderful sculptures are still intact.   Carnival!!!!! Is a week+ celebration with a parade most of those days: Baja California Sur is trying to promote recycling.  This is a wire form of a whale shark full of plastic: Meanwhile back at the marina.....  This was a first for us. We've never seen a personal submarine on a private boat before: Nice sunsets La Paz has lots of very good restaurants, from taco stands to fine dining. Here are a few of our favorites. J&R Ribs: Very good ribs, and many sides and salads to choose from. El Estadio for fish tacos:
