Summer 2018

Hello Friends! I took a break from Facebook for a bit while we were home for two months. We are now on the road back to the boat in Mexico. Our summer at home was busy and fun.   We whipped the yards back into shape, repainted and got one of the houses ready to re-rent, had a few dinners with family on the Island, and got caught up on doctor appointments. The rest of the time was spent with the Heyers/grandchildren.                             Firsts: Simon's first snow cone Lily's first popsicle Camping and Hiking with the kids: We are now in the midst of an extended camping/road trip which began on   September 7 th with a “Cruiser Campout” and will end around   October 22 nd at Drew’s house in Arizona. Punta Colorada, Isla Carmen: We were anchored here with our friend, Steve, on Pacific. A resident pod of dolphins came by in the mornings. A Big-Horn Sheep (There is a heard on Isla Carmen) Bahia Marquer, Isla Carmen: San Juanico: We were alone for one day. San Juanico now has rules, the beginning of a fence, and garbage cans!!??!! We hiked over the hill to La Ramada anchorage on the other side of the point.  It was empty .......... so we took a dip (skinny:) The farm up the road didn't have much in the way of pro...
