On Monday 5/10 we headed back to Port Townsend. We spent two days at the dock and had a mechanic survey the engine and give us a list of things we should do in the near future. Nothing too major.
Hauled out on 5/13 and Jim has been spending most of his time so far in the Lazerette grinding fiberglass getting ready to fix the rudder stops and install our new Cape Horn windvane.
All I see of him is a leg sticking into the quarter berth or a hand sticking up into the cockpit.
I've been scraping the exterior teak down to bare wood. Slow and tedious, but I'm also available to hand things to the man below deck!
