A Day in San Francisco

Stayed at Dave's last Thursday night, got up and took BART downtown to be at the Mexican Consulate by 7:30 am on Friday. Back to Dave's for a fish taco lunch - yum, did laundry and looked at the rest of his wedding pictures. Dave's Street in Glen Park

Our New Favorite Hardware Store

Pagano's Hardware may beat Henery's in PT (except for stainless steel fastenings) and Hardwick's in Seattle (except for gardening hand tools).

We aren't Doing the Baja Ha-Ha, but we did do the Earthdance!

Kelsey and RL were there because Flowmotion was playing so we drove up to see them. It was quite an experience. Good music, food, and people watching. A very well organized "Woodstock" type event - we heard that approximately 10,000 people were there! Alameda - home for a month or so.

We left Bainbridge 9/8, spent the night with Gretchen in Eugene and arrived in Alameda the afternoon of the 9 th .  Now we are settling in, getting the lay of the land and finishing projects that didn’t get done at home. We are loving Alameda. Everything we need seems to be available within biking distance. Fortman Marina View from the deck of the Alameda Yacht Club (where I'm sitting right now). Loomba-Loomba is the 6th boat down the dock (blue roller furling) The ramp goes directly from the boat to the shower and head. The truck is parked next to the showers. Very handy!

Heading back to Alameda tomorrow.

Kelsey and RL's wedding was wonderful. Four days of family time, a joyous ceremony at Rainy Lake in the North Cascades and ending with an awesome celebration at the North Cascades Lodge in Mazama.
