We were a bit out of sorts not having a boat here this summer, but some Bainbridge friends needed someone to bring their boat back from Campbell River so we volunteered. We drove their car up to Campbell River via the Port Angeles-Victoria Ferry and took the slow scenic route up to Nanaimo where we stayed with some old friends of Jim's from his Victoria Days.

Thanks for the wonderful Friday at your home on Isla Bainbridge on that wonderful Friday. The King's missed you at the Robert Perry party at Port Ludlow tonight. The music was really good and all the Perry designs filled the docks. Maybe next year. Have a safe trip back to the Sea this fall. We're off to Port Townsend tomorrow.
