The weather was better this time and we stayed two weeks.
Many days we hiked up this road from the north anchorage to the village
and then back on the beach when the tide was low - 3.5 miles.
This is the first house you come to as you come down the hill to the village:
The main roads in the village have been graded and are lined
with painted white rocks and tree trunks.
There are two churches. This is the Evangelical church:
This is the Catholic church:

This house either belongs to a very large family or
they take in laundry:
In the course of our two week visit we met many campers on the beach.
We are usually not here in the middle of winter so it was fun to talk to some
campers and see the variety of rigs. Apparently Agua Verde is now on the iOverlander app!
Agua Verde village and beach is 40km from the highway on a pretty rough road.
We saw everything from tents to this rig:
This is another hike - heading up the hill from the anchorage to the northeast:
Lola is José's puppy(they live at the head of the bay of the north anchorage).
She likes to join people on their hikes behind their house.
This is a first for us. A fairly large power boat pulled
into the anchorage and promptly set up a tripod with a
satellite dish and solar panels:
The Agua Verde store now has satellite wifi (not secure) for 30P/hour.
We had a small, but fun potluck on the beach with the other cruisers and José.
Full moon rising over the bay:
